Brother Dan is a very accomplished, experienced, and talented singer/songwriter/acoustic guitarist who has called Reno, Nevada his home for thirty years, although he spent less than six months there in 2006. A songwriting journey was undertaken over the past year and led Dan across the southern US as he rode over 12,000 miles on his motorcycle. Stops included Carlsbad, CA, Puerto Penasco, MX, and extensive time in the Austin,TX area. Another 8,000 miles or so were covered via various sailing vessels as he lived on Brother Paul's sailboat in Fort Myers, FL for three months which included stops in Key West, FL and certain Caribbean locations.

Brother Dan began studying classical guitar at the age of six, began performing regularly at the age of eight, and has been playing professionally on a regular basis since 1978. With a catalogue of over 1,000 cover songs off the top of his head from virtually all genres, his original music has now taken precedence and priority in his performances and career.

His passion for music, his talent, and his accumulated life experiences speak strongly to a broad range of people and generations. A positive diagnosis of Hepatitis C in the fall of 2004 (currently well controlled through an organic diet and herbal supplements), combined with other life changes, have led to a new and sharply focused vision that is evident in his original songs, and seems to reverberate within the hearts of his audiences. His music and performances span many different styles and genres as audiences share vicariously in his life through his music.
