For your listening pleasure, here are some of the songs (in mp3 format) that might be available on my first all-original cd, scheduled for release in mid-summer of 2007. I say "might be" simply because I have 20 songs that I'm working on in the studio. I've made really good progress on 17 of them, with these five being very close to the final mix. I'll probably have 10 of them on my first cd, and will continue to work on the next ten for the second cd, which should be available around the first of October, 2007. These five include two slower ballads ("Home Is Where the Heart Is" and "Where You Are"), with a medium ballad ("He Said Nothin'") and two of my funkier selections ("Meant for You" and "Natural Love"). I'm always at a loss as to how to classify my music, but the term "Blues-a-Billy" came to mind when my friend Phil Prunier was recording his guitar and mandolin parts, especially the slide work he did on "Natural Love".
